Easy To Fool
The other day I visited Ticketmaster.com to buy tickets for an upcoming concert. So to begin the process, I check availability and price (yeah, the tickets are a little pricey), continue by selecting seats and all that good stuff, input some sort of authentication code and click ‘next’…
Ticketmaster has gotten expensive. They charged me half the ticket price in ‘convenience charges’, and on top of that, they have the nerve to ask for more money out of me!
I always choose the TicketFast option since is convenient: I can have the ticket right away, plus in case I loose it, I could always go back and reprint. But there's something that bothers me every time I go through this process. Take a closer look at their delivery methods:
Hmm, let’s see… I can get hard copy, professionally printed tickets on good quality-heavy paper stock in the mail for free, or I can print my own tickets at home for $2.50?! Let me think for a minute here… I can spend money to use MY OWN printer to get my tickets using MY computer paper, or I can make Ticketmaster spend their money to print my tickets for absolutely no charge. Boy, we are easy to fool...
