Poor Fish!

I saw these Flickr photos at NotCot.org a couple of days ago and it really took my attention. It's a fish bowl with a handle so you can take your aquatic pet friend wherever you go. Here's the designer's response to one of the readers:

"the idea started for a project that I made for kids that have divorced parents and two houses. The idea was to make for them a fun product that can help them to take their fish-friend from place to place".

Sad concept, isn't it? Nice looking fishbowl though, but now my question is... [drumroll please....]

Why?!.... Why would I carry a fish everywhere I go?
