A Vacation In Pictures: The Birthday - The Museum (Part 1)

Today is my mother's birthday, so for this occasion, I planned a NYC extravaganza for her. Our first stop was Columbus Circle and Central Park. As an architect myself, I go gaga with the amazing architecture NYC has to offer. Here's an angled view of the Hearst Tower and other wonderful buildings around the circle.

Then we headed to the Metropolitan Museum. For my mom, this was a first time visit, so she was very excited.

To my surprise, there's a special exhibition of Frank Stella's artwork until July 29th (remember this date). The exhibition is called Frank Stella: Painting into Architecture. I was like a little kind walking around, looking at all the details and taking pictures everywhere.

Tomorrow I'll show you more pictures and stories about the museum and today's sightseeing... Oh! and one more thing...

Happy Birthday Mom!
