From The Music Department: Great Tracks With Great Music Videos

Franz Ferdinand - 'Take Me Out'
A very catchy song from a famous Indie (yes, they’re Indie) Scottish band, with a very artistic video. Why? Well, a couple of the band members were art students.
I absolutely love the part when the beat slows down, just before the main riff comes in.

The Bravery - 'Honest Mistake'
It's funny. I have mentioned this Indie band countless times but have never posted anything in their honor. This is one of The Chief Pompomist top favorite tracks. Don't skip the video! The concept behind it is an interesting domino rally. It's creative, dark, mysterious... too bad they missed the target at the end.

Royksopp - 'Eple'
This Norwegian duo have become some of the top masters of ambient electropop music of all times. Eple, which means apple in English, is an all instrumental track... and sort of the 'Ikea' of music: the sound is simple yet perfectly combined to build something that makes you say "...yeah, that sound cool!".
The clever video is a sequence of real family photos. Genius!
