Bloc Party in concert... Again!

You know the feeling when you are a kid and you go into a toy store and get to play with the coolest and newest toys out on the market? That same feeling I get after seeing a great concert. It’s one of my favorite things to do… you all know by now that I am a big music aficionado.
I leave the venue on an instant high, a high ten times better than any drinks could give me. Something about the music, the way everyone is coming together for one group that has inspired them in one way or another. That's how I felt after seeing Bloc Party live for the first time a year ago in Fort Lauderdale.

I was tempted to get closer to the stage to take a picture once Bloc Party started, which was no easy task, but my manners got the best of me and I stayed put. That's what happened with this photo.

But the awesome news is that they’re coming back to Florida on May 27th and I am really tempted to see them perform again.
Every member of Bloc Party does a wonderful job, but I must say that this band has one of the best drummers in Indie rock music.

So which indie band has the best drummer in my opinion? Well, The Rapture!

On my concert scale, I’d have to say Bloc Party is one of the best Indie bands I’ve seen live. And I’ve seen plenty: from U2 (definitely not Indie but the best concert I’ve ever been in), to The Bravery, to Cold War Kids, to Tokyo Police Club (remember the interview I had with them?).
If you like Indie rock music, I highly recommend this upcoming Bloc Party concert. You’ll have a rockin’ good time.
